Trapped in a heavy traffic makes you feel stressed out. You want to come out of your car and shout so loud, breaking every cars’ windshields…and you realize…you’re not a mutant. Your heart starts to beat unsually, hitting maximum heart beat per second and you feel that you’ve been pounded by few hollow blocks on the chest. It’s the worst scene that you’ll ever expect.
But, we can avoid getting in to that situation if you know the techniques.
Here are few ways to do it.
1. Erase the Scene
What do I mean about erasing the scene? This is about keeping your mind busy, think anything that is out from that traffic scene. This is where day dreaming are most useful. It will help you keep away those stress.
2. Counting Numbers
Counting is simple and most useful in this situation. You just count from 1 to 10 by counting it in thousands…one thousand one…one thousand two and so on. Using it during those stressful moments can add a relief.
3. Breath In and Out
If you feel that your heartbeat is uneasy, take a very deep breath and hold for 1 second then release the air as hard as you can. Do it 5 times. This calms your heart and mind and most importantly, give you more oxygen to your body…
Being human, it is in our nature to be angry during those times of incoveniences. All we have to do is follow the techniques and might as well keep peace on Earth and be happy…
